Servicing

At Freewheel we believe every bike should leave a service meeting both british standards and our own standards. For this reason we do not have set services that concentrate on one area of the bike whilst ignoring others. We do the whole bike and we do it well.

Therefore you will not find prices for servicing here as it all depends on what the problems are. What we recommend is that you book the bike in for an initial assessment which in turn allows us to give you an estimate both in cost and time.

Puncture Repair

No one likes to get punctures fewer people love to repair; but we will. A fixed price of £12 covers a new inner tube and the labour involved in fitting the new inner tube. If you have never done this yourself then let us know and if its not too busy we can show you how. We also have offers on spare inner tubes should you wish to bulk buy and practice at home. 

Wheel True'ing

Some see this as a black art others as a challenge. There are no set prices as each and every wheel can be warped, buckled and twisted in its own way. Simply bring the wheel down for us to take a look at and a quote can be given straight away.

Suspension Forks & Shocks


We have the tools and we have the knowledge but we rarely do them in house. This is for two reasons; Mojo and TF Tuned. These guys are the suspension gurus and can make your tired old forks and shocks like new. The turn around is excellent and the pricing can be found upon their respective websites.
